A Few Words About Us

Mark and Simone were born in Jamaica, yet their paths first crossed when in England.

Raised in Kingston, Mark was encouraged to be involved in his mother’s small business from the small age of seven and after the passing of his father, he then honoured the responsibility of cooking the family meals.

This tragedy was the catalyst of something beautiful as Mark developed a soul passion for the flavours and comfort of Jamaican cuisine, creating his first very own hot sauce at 14.

Whilst nurturing his love for food, Mark found the love of his life along the way in Simone, connecting over their passion for their home and culture they poured their love, passion, and nostalgia into their food.
